The Centre for International Tax Law ("CITL") is an independent research centre that aims to study and promote effective domestic, regional and international tax laws and policies.
Based in the East China University of Political Science and Law ("ECUPL") in Shanghai, the CITL aims to become a leading centre for tax scholars and practitioners to research and publish multidisciplinary, cross-border as well as comparative tax analyses. It will provide a platform for like-minded policy makers and practitioners to exchange knowledge and experiences in all tax-related aspects of the law.
The Centre aims to facilitate and host only the highest quality research available, providing genuine independent output with thorough academic analysis, empirical evidence and in-depth professional knowledge.
A comprehensive collection of both published and online international tax materials will also be made available to all members and visiting fellows at the CITL. In addition, the Centre will organise and host regular seminars and events to train and inform the tax community of global tax developments that are of interest to its members.
